and then there was HD
its a new technology and everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. we had already HD footages as early as 2006 and have rendered our services to our clients. now, its more prevalent with the emergence of handheld cameras featuring HD. pretty soon, we will be having our website and our HD footage will be hosted by vimeo. :P

architecture!
i am an architect by profession and "squandered" my 8 years working for someone else, making them rich. teehee. so what do i get in exchange? experience! now, i started my own firm, aptly titled: imagineer architecture. hahahha. big deal. yeah. if you consider that designing and building is one very technical job that requires precision and artistic flair. pretty soon, i hope, i will get in more clients :P

ilocos! and then some
what a way to start november. our clients, joe and ritzie, together with friends gave in to our idea of having a prenup over at ilocos from vigan to patapat viaduct. after some meetings, all are set to leave for a 4 day prenuptial shoot. we didn't expected that we will be having a blast!
woohoo! so, we all prepared, hunkered down for what will be 14 looong hours of driving. every now and then, we pause for a break and some stretching... sheesh! legs bent and eyes tired, we finally reached our destination. aahhhh.... now for some serious work ASAP. :) just past ten pm on november 01, we started shooting at Fort Ilocandia.
then, we rested for the night and prepared for another hour or so of driving towards pagudpud. we homestayed at their friend's house at burgos and proceeded to go shoot at Cape Bojeador Lighthouse.
further down, our site for the day is now on sight, pagudpud. took some shots while waves as big as bungalows crash the beach. what a sight to behold! white sand in the northern philippines :)
going back to burgos, we stopped by the awe inspiring gigantic windfarms at bangui bay. catching the fast sinking sun over the horizon, we captured some of the most romantic poses we have. here are some of the shots we did. oh, did i mention, the waves here are larger? now, they are taller than 2 storey houses with basement. oh man!
we still have two days to go and yet, we have more than enough materials for the PVP (Prenuptial Video Presentation)...
...to be continued

ilocos and then some
it was a week full of activities and the anticipation kept boiling! we suggested a prenup at bangui bay to our clients, joe and ritzie, who agreed on the idea. so, we set up a date and preplanned all itineraries for the loongggg looonnnggg shoot. :)

prenups! prenups!
what a week it is! having had accompanied my wife to her OB the last week, this week is spent more on doing what we do best, going out and taking some amazing shots of couple-clients.
we started the week with much much much rain, but oh, what the heck, we still continued shooting for francis and ruth's prenup at the greenery, bulacan. the place is good, something like an old english village of sorts (methinks i'm transported to another country). but man, its quite far from what we expected :)
anyway, here are some shots we had taken :)

a baby girl!
accompanied my wife to her OB last friday. she underwent some lab tests and then ultrasound... after 15 exciting minutes, and some tears of joy from my wife, the radiologist finally said what we're pining to hear.
it's a girl! and typed FEMALE on the screen :) oh my! i produced a baby girl. to put the radiologist's comment on the blog: "hamburger nakita ko eh, hindi hotdog" whoa! a female dizon at last. see, we are 5 brothers and most of our cousins are male. she is the first great grand daughter of the family (my lolo and lola are still kicking it up), the first grand daughter to both sides.
i'm sure, she will be a bright girl and will be the star of both families. i will be a father next year! whoopeedo!
